The Villa - Spec
The villa is located 31m North of Lisbon Airport, in the semi-rural location of Murteira, Cadaval. At present, it needs a scheduled program of works to bring it to the specific standards that Anjo have set. The villa will retain the ambiance that holiday accommodation requires, yet it will also contain similarities to a well designed children’s home. The villa is detached, with a garden to the side of the property. It’s comprised of two buildings that are semi-attached: the main house, with a large adega to its left.
Internal design:
All doors will be fireproof and lockable. Windows will be fitted with safety restrainers.
Bedrooms. There will be three if not four bedrooms provided for young people and two for care staff. It is hoped that each young persons room will contain a wet area but, if not, a separate bathroom will be provided. Each bedroom will contain overhead lighting plus a night light. The furniture will be strong and fixed. Colour coded bedding.
Dining kitchen. Table and chairs, melamine tableware, beakers/mugs. Usual kitchen facilities including locked knife drawer. Laundry equipment.
Living area. Leather chairs and settees. DVD player etc. Lockable games cupboard –Monopoly Risk Cluedo etc.
Staff Office. Fax machine, desk, paper/pens, safe, cupboard with adaptors and consumables and staff comforts. First Aid Kit, relevant documentation provided for ease of communication between holiday parties/residential homes. Telephone numbers/info re local doctors, police etc. Andria will be available should you require help & assistance.
External design:
Garden. Fenced and designed for practical use. Barbecue area with barbecue, table and chairs. Charcoal, firelighters and matches will be locked nearby. Outdoor games cupboard with inflatable beach items and footballs etc –lockable. Parking to the front of the property.
Health and Safety. Smoke and Carbon monoxide detectors, first aid kit, all Anjo staff are CRB checked. Fire extinguishers at all relevant points. Non-smoking building.
